Nacogdoches Niners Release Their Inaugural Season Schedule
Ever since the announcement was made that Nacogdoches was getting its very own minor league baseball team, I've been keeping an eye on the Nacogdoches Niners website to see when it was actually going to become a real thing. Periodically, they would add players to the roster, coaches, general information, etc. However, they just added something that seems to solidify all of it.
Nacogdoches Niners Release 2026 Regular Season Game Schedule
Yes, it's true, the entire schedule for the 2026 Nac Niners is now official. They will kick off their season on May 21st in Meridian, MS, taking on the Meridian Blues. They'll play four games there before returning home to Jaycee's Field in Nacogdoches on May 26th to take on the Beaumont Oil Barons.

As of right now, the entire schedule can be found on the Nacogdoches Niners Facebook page. I'll keep an eye out for more postings as they're made available.

From what I'm seeing, general admission tickets are $8 per person, and reserved seating is $12 per person. To go see a minor league game, I think that's a pretty good deal. You get to spend a night out at the ballpark with a date, friend, or solo (no judgement here), and spend less than $50 - and that's including snacks, gas to the game, etc.!
I realize that my non-sports friends might not be as excited as I am about this news, but I say it's a cool thing for Nacogdoches.
