26 Places To See Christmas Lights In Lufkin, Texas

With an arctic blast headed our way, now is the time to get out and see all the Christmas lights before they are gone for good. Luckily the City of Lufkin Parks and Recreation Department has released its list of must-see homes for the 2022 Christmas season.

This year they won't be doing a Christmas Convoy like last year, but you can bundle up in the car and make the rounds yourself with this list. Now that the rain has stopped you can see all the houses before a windy Siberian cold front fully envelops us Thursday night.

This record-breaking cold won't be giving us a white Christmas, but it could be the coldest since 1983. We won't be breaking that 39-year-old record anytime soon, as the high in Lufkin that day was 19 and the low was 6.

Light Up Lufkin Winner To Be Announced On December 21st

Tomorrow we should have a winner in the contest, and we will update this story to reflect that address. 24 homes were nominated for the Light Up Lufkin contest.

The 25th place to see lights is Downtown Lufkin and Rudolph the Red Nose Pumping Unit. To get to number 26 I just added in the Free Winter Wonderland drive-thru lights at the Angelina County Farmers market next to Cafe Del Rio in Lufkin.
