Dancing with the Nacogdoches Stars is back in 2021.  Last year's event had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, but on Saturday, August 14, the 3rd annual event is ready to make its return to the Nacogdoches Civic Center.

This year, nine couples will be competing for the top honors including People's Choice and Top Fundraiser. The theme for the 2021 installment is 'Havana Nights'. Individual tickets for Dancing with the Nacogdoches Stars are $55/each, while a table of eight goes for $450.  As of this writing, only 10 more tables are available.  Keep in mind that in 2018 and 2019 this event sold out.  All proceeds will benefit the Nacogdoches Senior Center.

The event is black tie optional, and we should mention that's heavy on the optional.  A starched pair of jeans and shirts has been quite common in the past, or if you have something that fits within the theme of 'Havana Nights', you're welcome to wear that as well.  Dinner will be included with your ticket, plus a cash bar will be available at the Civic Center by way of the efforts of Banita Creek Hall. For tickets and details, call or text 936-221-6863.
