Local Diboll Student Wins Award At Boys And Girls Club Banquet

From Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington to the National Youth of the Year winners, clubs across the world know that great futures start within their walls.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been molding and influencing youth since 1860.  One local kid picked up an award at the Boys & Girls Club's banquet recently and is headed in the right direction!

Quincy Hennington was awarded  "Most Creative Kid" at the Boys and Girls Club. Hennington is eight years old and an 'A' Honor Roll student at Temple Elementary in Diboll. His parents, La'Kesta and Marcus Coleman, are very proud of his accomplishments!

He will someday join the ranks of the Boys & Girls club proud Alumni.  Big stars like Jennifer Lopez, Martin Sheen, Shawn White, and Usher all got their start in these amazing programs that have taught America's youth to think big and dream big!
