Though this is all just for fun, their fake news site always makes you think. You see the video and hear the story, and with all the crazy things happening in the world, you might believe it for a second.

Then you look down and see that the story was written by the ONION, so you know it's just a joke. Too bad all those tax-free dollars going into megachurches don't equate to protection from all of our enemies both foreign and domestic.

The ONION has been making parody news for almost 30 years. They began publishing online in 1996 when the internet was in its infancy.

They are known for taking jabs at everyone equally, and that is something that I like. It doesn't matter your party, religion, or status; everything is fair game.

Of course, Joel Osteen, the pastor of this Houston Texas megachurch, is not the supreme leader of a foreign country with access to intercontinental ballistic missiles.
