You may have already started to hear about a pumpkin patch or an event in your area. If you are on the fence about attending one of these pumpkin fests, you should just do it.

Now is the time to start looking for the perfect pumpkin. You don't want to be the parent getting the last pumpkin at the grocery store in a picked-over bin.

Although cooler weather isn't going to be a thing in Texas anytime soon, at least it's not as hot as it was over the summer. Take some time to get outside with the kids and pets to enjoy the outdoors.

Every Church And Organization Is Having A Pumpkin Patch

You could even go to more than one pumpkin patch. There seems to be one at just about every school, church, or farmers market.

Every one of them is sure to have a different type, color, or size of pumpkin. Some of which you may have never seen before.

Last year I got some blue pumpkins. They were real, and I was amazed. I finally ended up eating one to see if it tasted any different.

Texas is a mecca for all things pumpkin. Jack-o-lanterns, leaves, harvests, scarecrows - we have all of that. You can still bring your sweater and your scarf for props in your photos, then go put them in the car.
