There is one man who is glad that he didn't get any closer to some hay bales near Crockett, Texas on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Houston County. DPS is sharing a dashcam video of a truck driver getting his window blown out when another driver passes him with a wide load of hay.

They are calling this a hit and run, though it's unclear from the video if the driver of the hay truck was even aware that anything happened. It appears the mirror of the semi folded in to break the window.
The video does make it very clear that the road is very narrow in that area, and looks like it is undergoing construction.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash was on State Highway 7 near mile marker 662. The DPS Southeast Texas Region needs your help identifying the driver.
