Hey, This Is No Joking Matter

There is one man who is glad that he didn't get any closer to some hay bales near Crockett, Texas on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Houston County. DPS is sharing a dashcam video of a truck driver getting his window blown out when another driver passes him with a wide load of hay.

Hit And Run Hay Bales Near Crockett, Texas

They are calling this a hit and run, though it's unclear from the video if the driver of the hay truck was even aware that anything happened. It appears the mirror of the semi folded in to break the window.

The video does make it very clear that the road is very narrow in that area, and looks like it is undergoing construction.
