‘Thank You’ Luncheons Scheduled for Area Peace Officers

Several community organizations and businesses are presenting appreciation luncheons in Lufkin and Nacogdoches on November 7 and November 14.  All area peace officers are invited to eat a Thanksgiving meal.  It's the organizers' way of showing their thanks for all that the law enforcement does to keep the community safe.

The first event will be held Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Atkinson Towing and Recovery located at 4944 Southwood Drive in Lufkin.  The following Saturday (11/14), another thank you luncheon will take place at the same times at the Nacogdoches Livestock Exchange located at 3813 NW Stallings Drive.

Peace officers can stay and eat or curbside meals will also be available for those officers that need their meal to-go.
