Though the book was written in 1844 "The Three Musketeers" stays relevant with each retelling. Many cartoons, movies, and plays centered around  Alexandre Dumas's masterwork have popped up over the years.

According to the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel, a large ensemble cast of SFA students will perform a two-act play by Ken Ludwig based on the book at the Griffith Fine Arts Building in the Flex Theater. This is an amusing bit of escapist theater with plenty of swordplay.
