If you're like me, then you're not a huge fan of Walmart. I mean, the store is alright, but when I'm going to the store, I generally want to be in and out fairly quickly. Lots of times, Walmart doesn't have that option. There are generally lots of people, and there's lots of merchandise in the big store, so it's not always super easy to find what I'm looking for.

But, Walmart made an announcement yesterday that really caught my attention. According to a press release from Walmart, they will be changing the parking lots of 160 different Walmart locations into drive-in movie theaters. Guests will be able to drive in, order concession items for curbside pick-up on the way into the movie, and then enjoy the drive-in theater experience.

I think it sounds like a legitimately cool idea. I'd be down for a drive-in movie. But the question is: Will Nacogdoches or Lufkin be one of the locations across America to host this experience? According to the press release, these drive-in movie theater experiences will begin in August and will run through October. They just haven't released the locations yet.

To keep up with all of this, you can check out Walmartdrive-in.com. (YES, they even made their own website for the experience! You can click on the blue letters above to go to it!) Right now there's not a lot of info on the website, but we'll be sure to keep an eye on it as we get closer to August.

Would you go to a Walmart Drive-In Theater if there was one in our neighborhood? Or, would you even consider driving to one if it wasn't too far away, like in Tyler or Longview? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
