Vote Today to Help Habitat for Humanity Win $10K from McAlister’s Deli

It's hard to top McAlister's Famous Tea. It's been 30 years since McAlister's Deli started brewing their Famous Sweet Tea and each year they've shared the sweetness with new communities across the country. Now there are over 450 neighborhood restaurants, each with their own story to tell. Folks are passionate about their neighborhood McAlister's, their communities and of course, the tea.

This summer, each of those 400+ restaurants have chosen a local cause to compete for in the Tea Town Showdown. The champion will not only win bragging rights, but also $10,000 toward the local partner that's near and dear to the community. The McAlister's Deli in Lufkin is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Angelina County.

There are two ways that you can help Habitat for Humanity in Lufkin get votes.  Number one - drink tea at McAlister's. Each McAlister's Famous Tea you purchase counts as a vote for that restaurant and for Habitat.  Number two - vote online.  You can vote once a day through July 18th.  The Lufkin store got a late start since McAlister's located on Highway 59 South, opened up several days after this contest got started.  However, the wonderful folks of East Texas have more than made up that ground and Lufkin/Habitat for Humanity is now in the top ten out of more than 400 stores nationwide.
