According to sources at Hudson ISD, all campus schools are shutting down today at 11 a.m. due to a main water supply issue.  This water line break appears to have taken place near Bonner Elementary School.

Officials with the school district released a text informing parents of the situation.  The text which was sent around 10:30 a.m. also issued the following instructions:

Parents of Peavy Primary and Bonner Elementary students may pick up car riders immediately.  Hudson Middle School and Hudson High School students will be dismissed at 11 a.m. Buses will run shortly after the general dismissal.

Some classrooms are in the midst of giving End of Course (EOC) exams and some of those students have been instructed to complete the test and then leave school once that has been completed.

No word has been given on exactly what caused the water line to break, nor as to when repairs will be completed.  We have also received no word as to how many customers are affected by this water main break.

Please exercise patience in picking up your children or if you are travelling through the school district zones.
