This is a huge week in the fight against Covid-19. The State Of Texas has opened up the vaccine to anyone that is 16 or older as of today (Monday March 29th 2021) and that is good news. The Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market Pharmacy on University Drive in Nacogdoches has the Moderna Covid-19 shot available by appointment right now.

These shots have an expiration date, so they are trying to get them into the arms of as many people as possible quickly. Call 936-585-7810 for an appointment right away. They don't want to lose the vaccine. Pharmacy hours are 9am-7pm, Monday - Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm.

Even if you don't live in Nacogdoches, call the number and get the appointment. The Neighborhood Market is a short drive from just about anywhere in Deep East Texas. So give them a call, and load up the car with your friends and family. Just call and they will work it out. There were supposed to be a couple of of more phases, but the reality is the vaccine is here and ready to go into arms. You can also sign up with your phone on the website of your local counties health district. In Angelina County they have a great website and it seems fairly easy to get registered.

As I find out more and more about these life saving vaccines, there is no question that they are safe, and effective against Covid-19. The quicker we all get the vaccine, the faster we can all get back to our lives.
