Adult Easter Egg Hunt - Dan's Day Trips

This is the most amazing event I have ever seen. An Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble in Lake Jackson, with huge prizes. You could let the kid in you run free, and pick up prizes in eggs like a 4KHD TV, Electric Meat Smoker With Bluetooth, Amazon Echo, and more. All together there are $14,000 in prizes. You have to find these prize eggs in one of 4 hunts with 300 people per hunt, in the dark, with a flashlight.

As you can imagine there is a huge interest in this event, and it always sells out. Every year they add another field, and another hunt, but interest always out grows the event. They put tickets on sale this year about 25 days ago, on March 1st, 2019, and all 1200 spots filled up in 3 days. Looking on their facebook page, and other places, you can find tickets for sale from the public so it's buyer beware.

The Lake Jackson community is south of here near Freeport, so totally doable for a day trip, or side trip to Houston/Galveston. The one thing that I really like about it is that you must be 18 and up. Don't bring the kids and the strollers, you will be turned away at the gate. Don't be late either. Hunt starts at 8:30pm sharp, and they are not playing around. I really like this idea, and hope to steal it one day for our area.
