This Saturday, October 12, 2024, you can check out Matt Ferrell and Friends. You can get your tickets in advance to the show at 1800 Ford Chapel Road today, CLICK HERE. 

The "Friends" include Wayne Morris and host, Dakota Price. The show is from 8:30 PM - 10:30 PM, and presale tickets are $11.63 each with fees, $15 at the door.

VFW Post 1836 Gun Bingo Fundraiser

On Saturday, October 26th the Lufkin VFW is having their first annual gun bingo fundraiser. There will be 10 games and 10 guns.

You can get individual tickets for $50. It comes with 10 game card packs with 3 Bingo cards per game, hot appetizers served at 6 PM, with tea/water included.

Extra cards, daubers, and drinks will be available for purchase. You can get a table for $500 with 8 individual tickets, 8 additional game cards per game, 8 daubers, and 8 cantina drink coupons. Click Here for more details on their events page.

VFW Post 1836 Veterans Day Celebration

The VFW post is the best place to celebrate Veterans Day in Lufkin. There will be shopping, food (Veterans eat free), live music from 5 - 8 PM, and a gumbo cook-off with Zydeco music on Saturday, November 9th.

There will also be a car show with no entry fee to show your vehicle. Win awards in each class & people's choice. Registration is from 8 - 9 AM.

The show is from 9 AM until 12 Noon, with awards given out at 12:30 PM.
