The Christmas season in East Texas is an experience like no other.  Residents throughout the area can be counted on to channel their inner Clark Griswold and string up hundreds of lights, fill inflatables, outfit the pets in Christmas sweaters and plug in the holographic projector.

A holiday light display is an opportunity to bring some good cheer to friends and neighbors and the 2021 season is no different.  Plus, those Christmas decorations can also put cash in your pocket.

Time is running out for you to send us a photo of your holiday lights.  This Sunday, December 12 is the last day that you can submit your picture and be in the running to win $500 cash compliments of KICKS 105 and East Texas Slab Masters.

So you say your Christmas display is not that impressive.  That's okay.  We're not here to judge.  In fact, the winner of the cash will be randomly drawn from all of our entries. So, whether you have enough lights to challenge Martha May Whovier from 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' or you just put up one strand of lights and half of them aren't working; you're in the running to win $500.

Take a look at some of the Christmas lights displays below.  We've got photos from Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Huntington, Hudson, we even have one display from near Belton, Texas.  Wanna get your decorations recognized and have a chance to win cash?

Send it to us here and you could win!

Merry Christmas and let's Light Up East Texas!
