Free Movies In the Park

Night one at Ellen Trout Park is already underway. 

We got together with Badders Law Firm in Lufkin and Nacogdoches to bring you some free movie fun! I’m live right now as I type this in Ellen Trout Park.

You can tune into Kfox 95.5 and come out to see my lips moving at the same time you’re hearing me on the radio. It’s like magic or something!

Speaking of magic, we are showing everyone’s favorite family friendly Halloween flick, “Hocus Pocus.” As you can see people are already setting up.

And as they say, “the freaks come out at night,” well ... after the family fun, we’ll usher the kiddos out of the park so the rest of us can watch “Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

I don’t care if you own these movies, and watch them every day at home. This is your chance to see these great movies on the big screen with like-minded friends. There’s just something fun about sitting on a blanket in the middle of the park, screaming lines along with the movies ... Just be sure not to annoy your neighbors in the park. We’re keeping it all light and respectful.

A few of the vendors out here have squares for their businesses and can take credit or debit cards, but you might as well play it safe and bring some spending cash for drinks and snacks.

We do this great event once a year, so take full advantage and maybe step up your Instagram game with some pics with the outdoor screen, or seeing your friends with their faces painted.
