Go To This Homeless Awareness Day Fundraiser In Lufkin, Texas

Since it has been super hot in the past weeks, our thoughts turn to people in our area who need shelter, food, and basic necessities. That is where Blessing Bags For N.A.C. (Nacogdoches & Angelina Counties) comes in, but not without your support.

To get that support they are putting on a huge fundraising event this Saturday, July 16th 2022 in the Lufkin Community Enrichment Center at 711 North 2nd Street in downtown Lufkin from 4 pm to 7 pm.

The facility is right across the street from the Lufkin Convention Center side parking lot. I knew that building was a church at one time, and now it's being utilized in another uplifting way.

Everyone Is Welcome At Annual Homeless Awareness Day in Lufkin

Free information and resource booths will be available for the community and blessing bags with toiletry items and hygiene products will be handed out.

Along with information, help, and education for and about the homeless in Nacogdoches and Angelina County, they will also have lots of fun things for the community.

It's free to enter the automobile show, and there will be awards for best in show Jeep, Car, Truck, and Motorcycle. There is no entry fee, and the winners will be voted on by the community and kids.
