If you live on FM 58 in Lufkin you might notice several trucks with tarped trailers headed South. They are all taking loads to be dropped off at the landfill.
The Angelina County Waste Management Center is about 5 miles down 58/Chestnut from the loop. They take waste Monday - Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 7 AM to 11 AM.
Angelina County residents can drop off trash for $6 a cubic yard and an appliance for $6. Small, deceased animal drop-offs are $5.80 and large, deceased animal drop-offs are $31.72.
Tarp Your Loads When Coming To The Angelina County Waste Management Center
Free Landfill Day is coming if you would love to get rid of your trash and not have to pay. Angelina Beautiful Clean has gotten together with the Angelina County Waste Management Center to host a free event for Angelina County Residents.
You can bring your household garbage to the landfill on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 7 AM to 11 AM. Every load of waste, trash, or garbage must be tarped or properly covered or you will be charged a $5 tarp fee.
The practice of tarping the loads ensures that you don't lose anything on the way there. We don't want trash all over the roads in Lufkin.
