Lindsay Is Charged for Felony Grand Theft

Bad news for LINDSAY LOHAN -- the Los Angeles District Attorney's office says that on Wednesday, the actress will be charged with one count of felony grand theft for allegedly stealing a necklace from a jewelry store in Venice, California.  It's a felony because of the value of the necklace, which is worth 2500 dollars. She allegedly walked out of the store with the item on January 22nd. Lohan will be arraigned Wednesday in a Los Angeles court at 1:30 p.m. PT.

Lohan is currently on probation in connection with her 2007 DUI case.  If she is convicted of felony grand theft, she could be sent to California state prison.
