Lufkin Coffee Shop Closes Downtown Location

If you have been in the downtown Lufkin, Texas area since the construction started, the many local businesses there appreciate it. Despite the construction, I have been downtown multiple times since work began and found it easy to navigate and got everything I needed from the businesses.

Heritage Coffee Co. was only adjacent to the area under construction. It wasn't the only reason they moved on from the location.

Heritage Coffee Co. wanted to be more inclusive for their customers. They solved that by opening a second location at 2215 East Denman Avenue (outside the loop) next to Ritter Lumber with a drive-thru.

Two Locations For Lufkin Coffee Shop Turns Into One

This local coffee shop started downtown in November of 2022. Now they have decided to close that downtown location permanently.

They are now drive-thru only at their new location and are looking to have the inside open for customers by August 10, 2024 for their grand opening.

The new location was only open a week before deciding to close the downtown location. Business must be good at the new location.

If you are close to that side of town, you should drive through and give them a try. If you aren't into coffee, I recommend trying one of the Blitzers.

Lia's Kitchen Closes For Good

Lufkin's only bastion of Vietnamese and other Asian infusion closes up shop in Downtown Lufkin. Owners will continue to operate Iron Grill in the South Loop Crossing with all of our favorite menu items from Lia's Kitchen.
