I remember a couple of years ago when NobiliTea opened in Nacogdoches. It was a huge deal for tea lovers. There was a lot of traffic at the University Drive location, and things seemed to be going pretty well in the first year.

They have been getting a lot of new competition in the area since then, but they still have a very loyal fan base in Nacogdoches. On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the owners decided to have a 50% off sale and close the location.

The nearest Nobilitea location is in Tyler, over an hour away, and the owners there didn't seem to know that the Nacogdoches store was closing. The truth is likely somewhere between; the franchise could have been unaware the store was closing.

Will Nobilitea In Nacogdoches Reopen Soon?

The Nacogdoches NobiliTea corporate-run Facebook page is still up and running. There is also a rumor that another franchisee will come and buy the business.

There was a sign posted inside the front door of the NobiliTea on University Drive in Nacogdoches that said the following:

 

NobiliTea - Our Dear Friends, it is with heavy hearts that we have had to close our doors. We have truly appreciated all the support and wonderful experiences over the last 2 1/2 years.
