Two Big Events For Lufkin Creative In October

To continue Lufkin Creative's goal to uplift the arts in our area they have two exciting events coming up during the month of October. This will be the second Art Walk Lufkin.

The first was held at the end of January this year. It featured artists and events on the sidewalks of downtown, and the second Art Walk is continuing with this theme.

Having the event in October is giving them the best chance at great weather, since this is an outside event. Lufkin's Art Walk will be on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 4 PM to 8 PM and promises to be a "true urban spectacle" per the Lufkin Creative website.

Local talent, creativity, and community spirit will all be on display.

Lufkin's Heritage Festival Is Coming To Downtown Lufkin, Texas 

The very next day will be Lufkin's Heritage Festival. On October 21, 2023 from 10 AM to 6 PM, all the cultures of Lufkin will be on display downtown. Go for the food trucks and stay for the live entertainment.

There will be artisan vendors, activities for kids, and the aforementioned food trucks with cuisine from all kinds of different heritages.

Lufkin's Art, Culture, And Heritage Week Offers Events Leading Up To Art Walk

These two events are just a part of the week-long celebration of our rich culture in Lufkin. There is the Juan De Dios Mora Exhibit at the Museum of East Texas starting Tuesday, and much more going on.
