I am a big fan of The White Peacock Olive Oil & Vinegar Company in downtown Lufkin. It is one of the local places I frequent to pick up vinegar that makes salad palatable for me.

I get their Traditional Balsamic by the gallon. It's just the best one that I have found, and I am hooked.

The White Peacock Has Been Closed For Over A Month

In the 4 years since they opened, I have had a great relationship with the owner Rebecca West. Since she recently took a position with my other favorite place in Lufkin, Texas The Ellen Trout Zoo, the business has been up for sale.

If you are like me your stock of your favorite vinegar and oils is running low, since they have been closed for over a month. Now there is some good news happening downtown for all of us.

Grand Reopening Is Almost Here For This Downtown Lufkin Business

They are having a grand reopening tomorrow on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Now Emma Wilson will be taking over the store. She along with new owner Tim McDonald are making some changes, but keeping our favorite best sellers.

Some Things Are Not Changing At The White Peacock

For me as long as the vinegar and oils are the same, I will be a continued customer, and I have been assured they will be. They are even honoring the 10% discount you receive when you bring your cleaned bottle to be refilled.

Might be a little rainy tomorrow, so bring an umbrella.
