Standpipe Coffee House in Lufkin has become an institution in our town. It is a place where friends meet, and work gets done.

The downtown hub that keeps Lufkin caffeinated has been owned by the Harbuck family for years. Recently on Facebook, they announced that they sold the business.

In a heartfelt message to their customers, they praised their employees and all they do to make it a special place to be. They even called out their manager Casey Nelson for doing a great job leading the team.

New Owners Announced For Standpipe Coffee House In Lufkin

In their farewell message to customers, they mentioned that they had full confidence in the new owners keeping the spirit that makes Standpipe unique.

Today the new owners were revealed to be Taylor and Megan Kovar, of Kovar Wealth Management. Known as "The Money Couple", they were recently featured on Focus on the Family.

Taylor, Megan, Kix, Kambry, and Kessly Kovar announced their new purchase on the Standpipe Facebook page.
