Super Bowl LIX at the Superdome in New Orleans is close to Deep East Texas in multiple ways. The big game corresponds with the US Marine Corps' 250th birthday celebration.
Marines will be integral to the event by providing flyovers during the festivities. They will flyover the Mardi Gras parade and the Super Bowl Pre-Game Show, the most watched live event in the world.

Marine Reserve Osprey Pilot From Nacogdoches To Flyover Big Game
Major Justin Pitcock is the President of HCH Aviation in Nacogdoches and a Reserve MV22-"Osprey" Pilot and Afghan war veteran. Today the Nacogdoches resident and 18-year Marine was practicing flyovers, with more practice coming on Friday.
During an interview on ESPN's Pat McAfee Show, he was asked if he had ever seen any UFOs. He quickly dodged that minefield and said that the Osprey with its vertical takeoffs, landings, and forward flight capabilities, is likely mistaken for UAPs (unidentified aerial phenomena) all the time.

He will be in the left seat of one of the 4 MV-22B known as the Osprey. It is a tiltrotor aircraft that can pull double duty as a helicopter or plane; perfect for many of the needs of our marines. There will also be 2 Marine Corps F-35Bs in the formation.
