There is a real mystery going on at the Kurth Memorial Library in Lufkin, Texas, and it's going to be up to you to solve it. This is your Scooby-Doo moment and you get to be those meddling kids that never let the bad guy get away.

A real whodunit with you at the helm to solve the crime and look fabulous doing it. Guests are being encouraged to dress up as Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, one of the Hardy Boys, or any detective you can think of.

You can also wear cocktail attire from any decade. No matter what you wear you are tasked with finding out who committed the 'Murder in the Stacks'.

Murder Mystery Gala At Kurth Memorial Library In Lufkin, Texas 

The Murder Mystery Gala is Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. You will literally be among the stacks at the library solving a seemingly real crime.

They are using the actual library facility as a backdrop for the gala. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served and there will be a cash bar and live music.

Tickets to Murder in the Stacks are $75 each, or you can reserve a table of 8 for $500.  The event is for those 21 years of age and over.
