Violations Health Inspectors Found In Nacogdoches

Many different types of establishments have recently been inspected in Nacogdoches. The City of Nacogdoches Food Health Inspections have sent their inspectors to keep the public safe from foodborne illness.

These assessments reflect the cleanliness of the restaurants, not the quality or taste of the food.

Timing is what it's all about when you are serving food. Holding things at the proper temperature, and cleaning the supplies you cook with are paramount.

These Inspections Help Restaurants Stay On Track

Making sure that these places stay at the top of their game and address issues that could eventually end with someone getting sick is the goal. That is one reason these inspections are done. 

I have to keep saying "places" because they don't just inspect restaurants. If there is food and it is being somehow given to another person, they inspect it.

Here are some of the types of "places" they recently inspected:

• Grocery Stores

• Hotels
• Restaurants

As you can see, these types of inspections aren't just limited to the restaurants we eat at.

None Of These Reports Have Zero Demerits

Though a few of the places that were inspected got close, none of them had zero demerits. Little things you wouldn't think of, can add up to lots of different demerits.
