
Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County Aug 2 – Aug 8
In Nacogdoches, there were only six inmates arrested during today's sweep of people arrested for felony charges over the past 7 days. Though few, the additions to the Nacogdoches County Jail committed heinous crimes.
Four of the felony bookings happened today and include suspects from a shooting that occurred on July 30, 2024. Nacogdoches PD believes it has the highest number of suspects involved in an NPD murder investigation.
Seven suspects in total were arrested for a THC vape pen drug deal gone bad. Four of the seven arrested are back behind bars.
Two Million Dollar Bond Set For Nac Murder Suspects
It seems that the Nacogdoches PD is tying up loose ends on this case and has narrowed down the perpetrators to four, or they are still re-arresting them all.
Richmond Man Gets $500,000 Bond On Drug Charges In Nacogdoches
Raul Lopez, 21, Santiago Mendoza Jr, 20, Nathan Sauceda, 22, and Eder Torres, 18, are all behind bars with similar charges. All except Lopez have a two-million-dollar bond amount listed.

None of the four is likely to raise that amount of money, and will likely stay in jail until sentencing. They will be moved to a prison if convictions are made. All of them have waited over a year to find out what their fate will be while being in the system.
