Recently the Houston Zoo started spreading holiday spirit with a video of their four-week-old baby Asian elephant. They even named him after the hippest part of Houston, Kirby.

Just as Kirby took TikTok by storm, the Houston Zoo made another baby animal announcement. This time with a much smaller footprint.
A Jaguar cub was born on November 6, 2024, and they just announced his name. Rojo is not yet on display for the public to see like the viral sensation Kirby, but is garnering attention in the conservation and educational zoology scene.
