We have all been there, and after years of tires sitting around in the garage, it's time to get rid of them. There is an event coming up in Lufkin where you can do it for free.

City Of Lufkin Tire Day Is In October

You have waited this long to do something with those old tires, so what is a few more days? The City of Lufkin is having a Tire Day on Saturday, October 19 2024 from 9 AM to Noon.

City of Lufkin and Angelina Beautiful Clean cohost this event at the City of Lufkin Solid Waste/Regional Recycling Center located at 500 Southpark Drive. If you live in the Angelina County area you can bring up to 4 tires for free. Additional tires will cost you just $2 each.

These rules only apply to light truck and car tires. All semi-truck tires are $5 each and are not included in the 4 free tires.

Do Not Bring Off-Road Tires To This Event

All tires with rims will cost you $5 if you want to keep the rims. There will be no off-road tires accepted.
