Tired Of Seeing Trash All Over Our Roads? You Can Do Something About It
If you are like me and drive the roads in Angelina County and in the City Of Lufkin, you see the trash. I have no idea where it all comes from. It just seems to appear when the mowers are done, then it's all ripped up.
What Are You Going To Do About It?
If you are like me and never throw anything out of your car, it's counterintuitive to be the one picking up behind those that do. That is exactly what you are going to have to do.
Angelina Beautiful Clean is putting together an Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup on Saturday July 24th from 8am - 11am. It will be cooler during that part of the day, and once it starts heating up, you are done.
Clean Up, Clean Up, Everybody Clean Up!
If you are willing to help out, volunteers will meet at the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce at 8am. Breakfast will be served, and all the cleanup supplies will be ready and waiting for you.
Trashbags, gloves, grabbers, vests - all the things you would need to make an effective and immediate change in your environment will be provided.
