Enjoy Bubble Blowing And Free Lunch TODAY In The Park!

The Family Crisis Center is kicking off Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Lufkin with an event called "Prevention in the Park," starting at 12 Noon on Friday, April 8th.

The event is totally free. Join us for a free lunch, guest speakers, and a collective "Blowing of the Bubbles" honoring the sexual assault victims served in 2015.

We'll be at Louis Bronaugh Park, located at the intersection of Third Street and Charlton.

The folks at the Family Crisis Center are being conscious of the environment this year, and are opting to do a bubble blowing event rather than a balloon release, which isn't very bio degradable. Good for them, but good for us too, because we'll all be a part of the beautiful blowing of the bubbles!
