Our Local Family Crisis Center Of East Texas is participating in Toyota's 100 Cars For Good program. They were selected as a finalist from more than 4,000 applications nationwide. If they win, they will get a new Senna Mobility Mini Van to help transport victims of domestic violence and their families to doctors appointments, counseling, and you can help!

Next Wednesday, July 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:59 p.m. visit www.100carsforgood.com vote for them via your facebook account. We really need to show how East Texas supports our local organizations. The crisis center is up against organizations from Connecticut, Florida, Michigan and New Jersey. This new vehicle would really enhance their ability to serve survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. If you are in our listening area, this organization is at your disposal, this is not just one town, this is all of us getting together to make this happen for them.

I spoke to Joe Loving of Loving Toyota yesterday and they will have computers and Ipads in the showroom all that day to facilitate the voting process. Anyone that has a facebook page can help!

Here is the video that they used as their entry in this contest.
