Angelina County Felony Arrests June 30 – July 6
If you were to sum up the arrests this week in Angelina County, it's men over 30 doing drugs and selling drugs to others. They are likely to be driving around town with no driver's licence or insurance.

That said, the week of arrests had some diversity in crimes. According to arrest reports from the Angelina County Jail, Christopher Anthony Lewis, 39, was arrested by the Diboll Police Department for arson.
His bail has been set at $5,000 and has not been met.
In 2016, according to the Lufkin Daily News, the Angelina County Sheriff's Office took a Lufkin man into custody after a "slow-speed" chase. Shun Lacree Butler, then 36, now 45, refused to pull over in his older-model Oldsmobile four-door for an equipment violation.
The two-mile chase began and ended in North Lufkin, with Butler giving up at a home on Kurth Drive. Deputies found that he had three kids in the car under the age of 15 at the time.
He was charged with abandoning or endangering a child. This was almost 10 years ago, but he was still on parole.
Lufkin Man Behind Bars In Every Decade For Drug Crimes
