A Lufkin man who used a sword to cut his father is back behind bars. The Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested him for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2019 after he allegedly got in a fight with his father and used a sword to cut him.

According to a KTRE article, he was arrested on a second-degree felony, with a bond amount of $12,000. The Angelina County Sheriff's Office report from that day states they responded to a disturbance at a home in the 1800 block of FM 706.

Upon arrival, Jones came up to them and said that he had gotten into a fight with his father the night before. He also asked them why his father hadn't been arrested.

When pressed by deputies about what had occurred earlier that caused someone to call them, Jones said nothing had happened. In the report, the father was the one who called 911.

The father told them that Jones forced himself into his room while he was trying to get dressed. Once inside, Jones started to yell at his father.
