Goodwill isn't just a place to dump your unwanted items, they fill multiple needs in our communities. They offer jobs to many people and make a better life for them.

If you are a regular shopper you know that you don't want something that is used up. You want to find deals on the good stuff that people gave away to get a tax break.

Donating To Goodwill Helps Create Needed Jobs In Our Communities

There are so many things that you are able to take to a local Texas Goodwill. Here is a list of things you should donate to Goodwill according to their website.

  • Furniture
  • Housewares and home decor
  • Collectibles and antiques
  • Books, music, and movies
  • Household textiles and bedding
  • Small Appliances
  • Computers and related accessories
  • Electronic equipment
  • Sports equipment
  • Toys and video games
  • Flat-panel televisions
  • Items that are gently used and in working condition

 

The rules are pretty much the same wherever you go to drop things off at Goodwill across the country. Help them continue to advance to their goals to provide jobs to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
