Power In Numbers
Starting a conversation about violence in the Lufkin area goes further than just a post on Facebook. We can all do more to unite our community toward this common goal.
You see how our community is changing, but what are you doing about it? Powerful things can happen when you get out of your comfort zone, and try to make a difference.
There are all types of violence; this all-encompassing event is just the beginning. It hopes to jump-start a crucial conversation about how things are going in our community and discuss ways to disrupt these behaviors.
Common Interests
Communities that come together in a common interest can do great things. We can all agree that violence of all kinds has continued to get worse.
Getting the kids involved will go a long way toward changing this for the future of our area. Find a few friends or neighbors who share your same enthusiasm for change and bring them along.
