Looking for something above and beyond the regular trick-or-treating in your neighborhood of choice? Here are some events that you won't want to miss this week in and around Lufkin and Nacogdoches that would be perfect for your little ghosts and goblins.

1. Trail Of Treats

This event in Old Orchard Park in Diboll would be the perfect way to supplement your door-to-door candy acquisition. It starts at 6 pm Halloween night and lasts until the candy runs out.

2. Rowdy's Spooky Campus

Coming up on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 there is a family event put on by Angelina College. The entire community is invited out from 5 pm - 7 pm, and the whole family is encouraged to dress up.

3. Drive Thru Trick Or Treat

Hospice In The Pines has an event planned for right after school on Halloween from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm at their administration building located at 1504 West Frank Avenue in Lufkin. Just a quick drive through and they have candy for the kids.

4. Monster Mash On The Brick Streets

Participating downtown Nacogdoches merchants will have candy for the kids Saturday, October 29th. They aren't closing the streets for this event, so stick to the sidewalks.

5. Trunk Or Treat

Stop by Speedy Axe Valet Laundry at 2014 North Stallings Drive in Nacogdoches on Saturday, October 29th at 4 pm for a Trunk Or Treat with themed trunks in the vehicles, games, and candy.

6. Boo Bash [CANCELED]

The new "Halloween Boo Bash On The Plaza" in Lufkin on Friday, October 28, 2022 was canceled due to bad weather. It was to start at 4 pm and last until 7 pm.

7. Chick-O-Treat

The 3rd Annual Chick-O-Treat is on Monday, October 31, 2022. The community is invited out from 4 pm to 6 pm at 1608 West Frank Avenue in Lufkin. Atkinson Candy employees will be handing out candy in a drive-thru set up for Halloween.
