Free Produce At Expo Center In Lufkin

You have been hearing about the drive thru produce distribution in Lufkin. So many families in need, and help is coming almost monthly. If you, or someone you know could benefit from the distribution, we have another one coming up at the end of January. If you missed out on the last one, you will have some time to plan on attending.

The East Texas Food Banks next event is Tuesday, January 26th from 10am-12pm. You enter the Expo Center via HWY 69 westbound. Stay in your car, and just pop the trunk or have the backseat unlocked. Then you will exit onto MLK.

There for so many families here that really need help. Is this your time of need? Most of us are just one paycheck away from being right there with you. The need for fresh produce is great, and it really is the healthiest food for your body.

The distribution is on a first come first serve basis. Also, the type of produce is pending availability. There is no eligibility requirements to get the help. If you know someone that could use this, make sure and share this and pass it along. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak the need has continued to be larger than normal.

The food boxes are full of nutritious fresh produce and other fresh items. You can even pick up a food box for a friend with a signed note from them. They have removed these barriers so they can do the most good in our community.
