The Lufkin Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Zaviar Womak, 11 years old. He was last seen around 5:15 PM near Lufkin's Garrett Primary School.

He was wearing a Warriors t-shirt like the one he is wearing in this photo, with blue jeans and eyeglasses.

The last time we had a missing young adult in the Lufkin area, everything eventually turned out all right. Jayla Carter was missing for over a week in December of 2023.

The then 15-year-old was last seen leaving Lufkin High School on foot, walking down Lufkin Avenue. Attempts to contact her on her cell phone were not successful because she had no service.

She somehow was able to connect to Wi-Fi and messaged her family to ask for money through an app. When Jayla ran away in the past she was found somewhere near Lufkin. She had gone missing on purpose and was luckily found.
