Lufkin Favorite Restaurant Receives 35 Violations
Recently, we posted near-perfect report cards for some Lufkin area restaurants. Now the Angelina County and Cities Health District have released part 2 of the same timeframe of reports.
The information they provide via the Lufkin Daily News on the cleanliness of our area is invaluable for making decisions about the places in town to eat out.
These reports give us insight into how clean and safe it is to work at an establishment. They do not account for the taste or quality of the food they serve.
16 New Reports Offer More Details About Lufkin Area Restaurants
Now we have a new batch of 16 reports from nearly the same time frame. These assessments were made from June 24, 2024 to July 30, 2024.
14 of the establishments scored an A or high B according to the scale below:
Some of the places featured below got a perfect score. These reports are a great reminder of all the choices available when you want to eat out in Angelina County.
It is also important to note that these inspections were done over 6 weeks ago. If there were issues, they have had a chance to fix any of these issues that came up.
If the issues are bad enough they would close the business until they can come up to standards. If they are still open, it means they are generally safe to eat from.
