Lufkin Swim Team Needs Your Help!

Oh! Whata Night Fundraiser time again at Whatabuger in one week. The LHS Swim Team Booster Club needs you!Tuesday (March 7th) stop by Whataburger on Highway 94 and the Loop in Lufkin. You'll most likely see members of the Lufkin High School Swim Team flagging you down. They are raising money to support the coaches and swimmers this year.  Between the hours of 5-8pm stop in or drive thru to show your support.

If you have ever been on a team that isn't fully funded you know what this is all about. Meets and other out of town events that the swim team attends cost money. Just the act of choosing where to eat Tuesday will help the swimmers and the coaches with out of pocket expenses during these meets. Do don't miss a fun evening of celebrating a great cause with Whataburger and the LHS swim team.

I was actually a pretty good swimmer back in the day. I should have kept with it. I was always the best at swimming backwards. I even have a trophy somewhere from being on the swim team as a kid. Though I never took it to this level, these kids are amazing, so help them out!
