This “Most Wanted” Felon Caught In Texas

El Paso, Texas - On February 2nd, 2024 Kenneth Wayne Dove, Jr. was finally captured. His mugshot has been shown around by the Texas Department of Safety and the Texas Rangers since November 2022.
Dove had been on the 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list multiple times and managed to evade capture. The fact that he looks very different in all of his mug shots might have had something to do with that.
Texas Top 10 Sex Offender Captured In El Paso
The fugitive was captured in El Paso, Texas. The arrest was made possible by the ongoing investigation by members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special agents.
The El Paso Police Department Sex Offender Registry Team assisted in the arrest. Kenneth Wayne Dove, Jr. had a long rap sheet:
- Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact
- Assault Causing Bodily Injury of a Family Member
- Assault Family/Household Member by Impeding Breath
- Delivery of Marijuana
- Failure to Comply - Sex Offender Duty to Register
- Driving While Intoxicated
- Bail Jumping
- Failure To Appear
- Marijuana Possession
- Criminal Mischief
When looking for Dove, all agencies had to treat the fugitive as if he was armed and dangerous.
Dove Convicted Of Two Counts Of Indecency With A Child
In 2016 Kenneth Dove, Jr. was convicted of two counts of indecency with a child following two incidents with a 5-year-old boy. He was sentenced to five years for each offense. After his release, Dove did not comply with sex offender registration requirements.
