3 Arrests In Nacogdoches For Crimes Against Children

Three separate people were arrested in Nacogdoches County for crimes involving children this month. According to the Daily Sentinal a Henderson man was arrested on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Mario Alvarado, 21, was initially charged with sexual assault of a minor. The arrest was made based on information obtained by Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office investigators that found he allegedly had sexual relations with a 15-year-old female.

Court records show that this offense took place on December 27, 2024. A warrant was issued, and he was picked up and released on a $100,000 bond the next day.

Henderson Man Back Behind Bars In Nacogdoches County For Child Pornography

The investigation into Alvarado continued and more charges have been brought to light. He was re-arrested on January 22, 2025 with an additional felony charge of possession with the intent to promote child pornography.

Amber Dawn Fitzgerald, 36, was booked and released on Monday, January 6th, 2025 after being indicted by a grand jury in the course of an investigation for the sexual assault of two minors. She was first arrested for the felony charge on July 15th, 2024.

Rusk Man In Nacogdoches County Jail For Sexual Abuse Of A Child

Noland Dewitte Lee, Jr., 22 of Rusk, was arrested for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child under 14. He is now in the Nacogdoches County Jail with a $ 1 Million bond.
