The Angelina County Farmer's Market in Lufkin at 2107 S Medford Dr. is hosting "Treasures at the Market"  Saturday October 12th 2019. East Texas farmers have been producing some beautiful produce already this fall and this is an event to show it all off.

I had a chance to go to the Farmers Market last Saturday, and the crazy multi-colored pumpkins were so interesting. I had to buy one, it was a pale green blue, and I had never seen anything like it. They even had some huge pumpkins, some with foot long stems still attached. There were all sorts of bumpy gourds, and mums everywhere.

This Saturday there is actual treasure hidden. If you find it's free. Follow Angelina County Farmers Market and their event on facebook to see pictures of the items soon. Free parking, and free admission, so no reason not to try and win.

Vendors are welcome call 936-633-0359 to reserve your spot today! It will be held at the Angelina County Farmers Market, 2107 S Medford Drive, starts at 9am and runs until about 2pm. They say 4pm, but when I go, everyone is packing up at 1:30pm 2, but the gates will be open till 4pm.
