Two Lufkin businesses inside the Lufkin Mall are about to close up shop. If you have been keeping up, things are continually changing.

Legitt Urban Clothing Store Is For Sale And Closing

The first business closing its doors is one we mentioned previously was for sale. Legitt is in space C-5 in the mall down from where GNC used to be by the AMC theater.

They posted a for-sale ad on Facebook for someone to take the entire business for 20K. Now they are having a close-out sale with items starting at $2.99 and up.

One More Lufkin Favorite Gone At The End Of March 2024

One of the businesses that we featured when they first opened in the Lufkin Mall in May of 2022 has sadly decided to close at the end of this month.

Melody's Macarons in Lufkin made the bittersweet announcement that they were closing their Lufkin Mall location for good. The reason that they cited on Facebook was an issue with their contract with the mall.

They mentioned that they have been in negotiations with Lufkin Mall for months trying to reach an agreement that aligns with their long-term goals for the bakery. Their last day in business at their current location will be March 31, 2024.

The Melody's Macarons Team will be missed, but the owners are steadfast in their mission to bring their culinary treats to the community. I am sure they will land a new location or continue the business in a way that makes sense to them soon.
