Sad news for Lufkin Mall shoppers as favorite stores announce closures.

The Lufkin Mall is still home to over 40 businesses. Out of those, at least 15 or so are local small businesses.

Santa Claus himself will be there, though sometimes he is a little sleepy and we have to raise him from his slumber.

Nobody told me that Al's Formal Wear was gone. Shoot, I didn't even know that it was closed, much less completely empty...

Today, I decided to look a bit deeper into it. I even went to the JCPenney website again. This is what I saw:

If you check out the store directory on the Lufkin Mall website, both of these are listed as "Temporarily Closed".

The store at the Lufkin Mall is included as one of those to be shut down.
