Felony Arrests In Angelina County Nov 4 – Nov 10

From November 4th to 10th, 2024 there were 18 felony arrests in Angelina County. This is way up from 9 last week and matches 18 the prior week.

Big Arrests In Angelina County This Past Week

An Angelina County Sheriff's Officer was patroling HWY 59 near the north side of Lufkin on the evening of Wednesday, November 6, 2024. He pulled over a 2024 Toyota Corolla operated by a Lyft driver and noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Using that probable cause to initiate the search, the deputy found marijuana and two large bags filled with guns stolen out of the Houston area.

Jahtaya O’Day Jah-Kiara Hamilton of Leamington, Ontario is now in the Angelina County Jail on a Federal hold. It's not often we catch an international drug smuggler in Lufkin.

Two In Diboll Charged In Human Trafficking, Prostitution With Minors Involved

Tabatha Marie McFarland, 55, and Cleo Donald Ruth, 52, both of Diboll were charged after a Diboll PD investigation that started with tips in September.

According to the Lufkin Daily News, the investigation quickly found that one of the victims was under 18. A full list of their charges is found in the list of felony arrests below.
