26 Felony Arrests In Angelina County April 14 – 20

The police in Angelina County have been busy. The Angelina County Sheriff's Office, in charge of the county jail, had a big job with 26 felony arrests the prior week.

This report is a snapshot of today and everyone arrested on felony charges during this time, who haven't bonded out for their crimes yet. Many felony arrests are bonded the same day, so we never see them.

These felons either have no means to pay the bond, have an extremely high bond, or have not been offered bail yet. Along with the normal case load, officers have taken advantage of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and rounded up many sexual predators in our area.

9 Men Arrested For Crimes Against Children And Family Violence

For the first quarter they rounded up all the meth dealers in the area, and now area law enforcement has focused on sexual predator's and perpetrators of family violence. Everyone arrested, even for felony level crimes, is innocent until proven guilty.

Da'Various Jokeith Bradford, 27, has been arrested by the Lufkin Police Department for Sexual Assault of a Child.

Dustin Chase Reeves, 18, was issued an order to surrender for Aggravated Sexual assault of a Child, a first-degree felony.

Bryan Matthew Johnson, 39, was arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, a first-degree felony.
